Fundamentally, I believe art should be shared.

Every piece I create has an intended function and that function is to be seen. Furthermore, my work is trying to open a line of communication; but it’s a wholly one-sided conservation as the viewer can do nothing but listen to what my work is saying. I attempt to imbue every piece with my emotions in such that my work is ineffably devoted to feelings, however inexplicable that may be.

In the moments of creation while every decision is intentional, I’m not conspiring to produce intellectual fodder for anyone to pick apart and consume. Whether someone else approves of my work or not, I will still create. However, once the work is done I’m filled with trepidation regarding what to do with it… as I often find more pleasure in the process than the final product.
